About NEO Mobile Podiatry

NEO Mobile Podiatry is a Youngstown-based mobile podiatry practice serving long-term-care facilities across Northeast Ohio. The idea is simple: the care comes to the resident โ€” not the other way around.

Meet your podiatrist

Aniela Cordoba, DPM, DABPM

Founder, NEO Mobile Podiatry LLC

Dr. Aniela Cordoba is a podiatric physician and the founder of NEO Mobile Podiatry, a practice dedicated to bringing on-site foot care to residents of skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care communities throughout the Mahoning Valley and surrounding areas.

She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and completed a three-year surgical residency in podiatric medicine and surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Banner โ€“ North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. She is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Cordoba brings seven years of post-residency experience across every area of podiatry. Most recently, she served as a staff podiatrist in foot and ankle surgery at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, with ample experience caring for older populations with multiple comorbidities. During that time she also held a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor with the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and she has practiced in private podiatry settings in Las Vegas as well.

After seven years of practice in Las Vegas, Dr. Cordoba relocated to Northeast Ohio and is licensed to practice podiatric medicine in the State of Ohio.

Her clinical focus is a simple one. Many older adults can no longer safely reach or care for their own feet, and when nails and skin go unmanaged, small problems become falls, wounds, infections, and hospital stays. Dr. Cordoba provides the recurring, preventive foot care that keeps residents comfortable, mobile, and out of the hospital โ€” delivered where they already live.

She has published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, lectured at regional foot and ankle meetings, and is fluent in Spanish. During her free time, Dr. Cordoba enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Why mobile-first care

No one should have to arrange a van ride, a wheelchair transfer, and a half-day outing for a nail trim. For residents of long-term-care facilities, a trip to a clinic can be exhausting, disorienting, and disruptive to routines that matter.

NEO Mobile Podiatry was built around a different model: regular, scheduled visits where residents already live. Care happens in a familiar setting, on a predictable schedule, with the facility staff who know each resident best close at hand.

What we care for

Routine & diabetic nail care

Safe, regular trimming and maintenance โ€” especially important for residents with diabetes or limited mobility.

Diabetic foot exams

Regular checks to catch small problems before they become serious ones.

Corn & callus care

Gentle reduction of painful corns and calluses for comfort and mobility.

Ingrown toenail treatment

Relief for painful ingrown nails, handled on site.

Wound care

Attentive care for foot wounds, coordinated with facility nursing staff.

Fall-risk & footwear guidance

Practical advice on footwear and foot health to help residents stay steady on their feet.

A partner to facilities and families

Good foot care is a team effort. NEO Mobile Podiatry works alongside facility nursing and administrative staff to keep visits predictable, documentation clear, and follow-up straightforward.

Families deserve to know how their loved one is doing, too. Our team is committed to plain-language communication with residents' families, so nobody is left guessing about what was done or what comes next.
